Cloud Backup and Recovery as a Service

There have been several Cloud outages that have been in the news. Outages lasted for several hours to days affecting businesses and users. Natural disasters, Storage and server H/W failures, Network failures and Backups were the causes of these outages. Even the recovery from backups failed in some instances leading to the notion whether backups can be counted on. There is a better alternative to recovery that is better suited for a Cloud environment. One that can be verified reliably, is instantaneous, is application aware and is tenant driven.
