Tonight's meeting will again be at the IBM Developer Partner facility just up the road in Waltham. Join us at 6:00 for Networking, Pizza, Introductions, and "Virtualization in the News".
7:00-7:45 Speaker, Tyler "T-Rex" Rohrer, CTO Liquidware Labs
COO and Founder, Liquidware Labs, was a partner at FOEDUS, a very successful consulting organization that was acquired by VMware in 2008. Tyler's professional services experience and knowledge within VDI deployments is legendary. As an evangelist on the topic, he is a regular contributor to industry forums, and speaks nationally on topics such as application and desktop virtualization.
8:00-8:45 Brian Kelly, NE Technical Consultant, Appsense
Managing the User Environment Effectively with any Desktop
Desktop virtualization has the potential to bring about a fundamental change in end user computing. Successful implementations decrease total cost of ownership, reduce desktop management through standardization, and optimize storage and infrastructure. AppSense Environment Manager enables desktop virtualization by providing personalization, enabling users to personalize standard images while treating user information as a separate layer of the desktop, leading to a decrease in management costs and a more satisfying user experience.
Brian Kelly is the Northeast Technical Consultant for AppSense. Prior to AppSense, Brian was training, evangelizing and consulting on the Desktop Optimization Pack, starting with Softricity and then with Microsoft. Brian has also been a Microsoft Certified Trainer since 1997 covering various Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, and Security.

There are two parking lots for the site. You really want to park in the northern lot.
From the North, I-95 to Trapello Road. Head East, right on Smith (become Wyman), right into first parking structure for the site.
From the South, I-95 to Wyman St. Left on Wyman. Past first two entrances to 404, take left at end of complex into northern-most parking structure.
Upon entering building from parking structure, procede to first floor. IBM is just after the guard desk.
