Jose is the Network Architect at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford where he has led and championed the virtualization strategy.

He is also involved in the design and implementation of St. Francis’ alternative data center (ADC) for business continuity and disaster recovery.  Previously, he worked at Moore Medical, a McKesson subsidiary, as the Manager for Server and Network infrastructure.

He has over 20 years experience in the field starting with Novell Netware products (2.x through 5.x) and then becoming an expert with Microsoft server products starting with Windows NT 3.51.   Currently, his main interests are related to virtualization of servers, desktops, storage, applications and backups as well as the technologies enabling and being enabled by virtualization.

This session has limited seating and requires advance signup!
 
Jose Castro will lead this Experience-On session where you will try out the "in the box" capabilities of Microsoft Remote App Feature.  Remote App provides a Web based portal interface for a "seemless" application running on a terminal server (remote session host) but with the display and interface natively integrated with the client desktop.
 
You must bring a Windows laptop to use in the sesssion.
