CALL

FOR

SPONSORS

Virtualization Boston seeks sponsors for this event.  Based on the success of the last five years, we expect 120 to 150 IT Professionals and Consultants eager to learn about products and technology to be attending.

Click for our Sponsorship Invitation  letter.

Sponsorships are incredibly important to our operation.  We are non-for-profit and run 100% by volunteers.  So sponsorships go towards not only funding this event, but our programs throughhout the year.

We have four levels of sponsors:

  • Platinum Track
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Virtual (Sponsoring Community Groups)

Deadline to commit is 12/31/2013.  Last year we sold out, so don't wait!

For more information, please contact Mike Hall .

 Sponsorship Details

This year the Expo Hall will be a dedicated space located in the Central hall outside the meeting rooms. Attendees will have to pass though this space to get from room to room. There is enough room for limited tables and meandering attendees. Each location will have a table and probably power. Higher level sponsors will be given first consideration on placement and table sizes. Exact details and a map of the layout is not yet available.

All sponsors will be listed with their level on the event website any any mailings made by VirtG to promote the event.

All sponsors will be publicly acknowledged in front of the entire audience during the opening and sessions.

By request from past sponsors, this year we will have an "open lunch" (replacing the  "working lunch" concept). During the open lunch there will be no sessions and attendees are encouraged to visit the sponsor tables.

VirtG has a policy to not provide attendee contact information that we collected from attendees to the sponsors. Instead, we encourage sponsors to collect this information from attendees as they visit their table in the Expo Hall. The easiest way to do this is to offer a raffle prize to those that give you their business cards. We will support you with this; bringing you up on stage at the closing session to announce the winner and award the prize. This has been hugely popular with the attendees in the past. i can't imagine what the sponsors will offer at this year's event, but it probably won't be a pen.

Sponsorship does not directly lead to speaking sessions, but we will consider session proposals from sponsoring companies favorably. Speaking sessions should be very heavy on technical content. Speakers are requested to keep Sales/Marketing content to a bare minimum; one slide and a simple mention please! In the past, sponsoring speakers have been very cooperative with this policy.
